Ancillary Product Analysis: Film review

Below is a series of film review page spreads which I have annotated. I have commented on the layout, structure and aesthetics of each page which has exposed me to numerous sources of inspiration for my own Ancillary products.  Despite the first example annotated below being slightly unconventional I feel this product is most relevant to my own as it is displaying a smaller film. Additionally I personally prefer the style and how it uses a colour scheme which matches the one used within the film it is focusing on.

Through this process I have realised that the typography and arrangement within a physical film review is extremely important. Within the Vertigo the bars of colour reinforce the film's theme.
