A Development in the Casting Process

After doing extensive research into the various ways I can obtain some actors for my primary product I have decided upon using some performers I know personally as I the filming process will be easier to organise and there is a lesser chance of being let down by those who will be acting. My primary choice will be to use a local performer, Jack Fisher, who has stared in numerous well respected performances and has shown on numerous occasions his level of expertise. Below is a screenshot of my conversing with him, giving the details of my planned film. At present I have only minimal concerns with working with Jack but his age may cause a problem. As my protagonist is in his late 20s it could be argued that his youthful appearance will disrupt audience immersion and engagement as it does not conform to the character's backstory of having a child etc. This however could be dealt with through makeup or shadow work.
