Difficulty of embedding 'Imgur' posted .GIF files

As I wanted to insert only a small section of the short film, Vincent, within my analysis I decided on converting the section I wanted into a .GIF file. This would have allowed me to show an animated section of the film on loop. Below is a screenshot of myself converting the source YouTube video into a .GIF.

Once my .GIF was created I uploaded it to the highly acclaimed online image host, Imgur. After doing this I ran into a problem while transferring the HDML embedding code across to Blogger. Whenever I did so Blogger registered that the GIF had been implemented however once the post had been published onto the blog the GIF was invisible. As of yet I have have not found a solution to this problem however I have linked the GIF in the post as a temporary measure.
